About the Author

I’m crass, brazen, honest, opinionated, unrefined, persistent and determined. These are my biggest obstacles and my keys to success.

I grew up in the backwoods of the Appalachians where peoples greatest ambitions included:

• Buying a double-wide trailer,
• Driving a “Dooley pickup truck”, and
• Becoming a State Trooper or working at a factory

I escaped as soon as I possibly could! I knew there was more to life then “just getting by”. Now I live in Houston, Texas and am learning to thrive in corporate America.
